About Dagim Negash (Daggy)

My name is Dagim Negash but everyone call me Daggy, I am the Community Manager at SOACT, where I have been proudly serving older adults for almost two years. Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, I am the youngest of three brothers. I came to the United States at a young age and, in 2019, moved to Cincinnati to pursue higher education, earning my bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Finance with a minor in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

At SOACT, I work closely with older adults, creating an environment where they feel supported, valued, and engaged. My role allows me to connect with our seniors on a personal level whether it’s sharing a conversation, lending a hand with daily needs, or simply bringing a smile to their face. Living far from where I grew up and missing my family, SOACT is more than just a workplace, it is a family. The bonds I’ve built here give me a sense of belonging and connection that I deeply cherish.

In addition to my community management responsibilities, I also serve as the Service Coordinator for our senior living apartments, where I assist more than 50 residents. From helping coordinate services to ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed, I strive to make every resident feel heard and cared for.

Serving our seniors is more than just my profession it is my passion. Every day, I am inspired by their stories, resilience, and wisdom, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in their lives.
